Christ University, Bangalore has begun the admission process for its Ph.D programmes for the upcoming academic session. The university is offering Doctor of Philosophy courses in these disciplines- Management, Commerce, Tourism, Economics, Education, English, Media Studies, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Law, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering. The interested and eligible candidates may apply according to the prescribed format.

• The candidates should have postgraduate degree in their respective field of research from a recognised university or institute
• They should have a minimum score of 55 percent marks in their qualifying degree
• The students who have cleared UGC-CSIR NET/JRF examination or SLET/GATE examination are eligible if they do not have an M.Phil degree
• Also, the candidates who have worked as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for an externally funded major research project, for at least one year, are eligible if they do not have an M.Phil degree

The candidates will be selected on the basis of the written exam and an interview round. The candidates who have exceptional academic record at the postgraduate level and renowned publications may be accepted into the Ph.D programme directly.
